Walk as a Roman in Cartagena

Step into the shoes of ancient Romans with this special wine tasting in Cartagena, Spain. This unique experience, crafted under the guidance of expert archaeologists, transports you back to the time when the Roman Empire flourished in this historic city.

Once your adventure begins, you will be swiftly led to the House of Fortune. Here, you'll explore a Roman residence that has stood the test of time, offering a glimpse into ancient domestic life, with the entrance fees conveniently included in your tour.

The journey continues at Cartago Mundi, a cultural hall brimming with Roman history and artifacts, where you're invited to savor wines meticulously recreated from ancient recipes. These exquisite wines, infused with honey, flowers, fruits, and spices, are the result of extensive technological analysis and historical research on amphorae discovered during archaeological digs. Embrace the spirit of Roman banquets and indulge in these ancient delights.

To complete your transformation into a Roman citizen, we offer you the chance to don authentic Roman attire. Seize this opportunity for unforgettable selfies and memories, immersing yourself fully in the Roman way of life.

The tour returns you to the meeting point, however, the exploration doesn't have to end there. Feel free to wander through the heart of Cartagena at your leisure, with no worry of losing your way back to the ship.

This excursion is more than a tour; it's a time-traveling experience that connects you with the ancient world through sights, tastes, and even attire, making it a must-do for history enthusiasts and adventurers alike docking at the port of Cartagena. Join us and step back in time to relive the grandeur of the Roman Empire in the historic city of Cartagena.
